Zach Messenger is the co-founder of CheckedIn. He is a serial entrepreneur and financial investor who has always had a knack for business. His professional experience includes financial restructuring advisory at Teneo and Duff & Phelps. He received his B.S.B.A from the Ohio State University with a concentration in Finance. He is also a Certified Alternative Investment Analyst.
Evan O'Connor is the co-founder of CheckedIn. He is a news junky, tech enthusiast, avid traveler, real estate expert, and a visionary. His experience includes structuring and originating commercial mortgage backed securities at Deutsche Bank to originating, acquiring and restructuring distressed commercial real estate debt for Torchlight Investors. He received his B.S.B.A from the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Finance as well as Real Estate and Urban Economics.
Professor Chekitan S. Dev serves on the faculty of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. He is recognized as a leading authority on strategic marketing and brand management. He has served corporate, government, education, advisory and private equity clients in over 40 countries on 6 continents as consultant, seminar leader and expert witness.

Alan Tantlef f
Alan Tantlef f is a senior managing director at FTI Consulting where he leads FTI Consulting’s Hospitality, Gaming and Leisure global practice. Mr. Tantlef f is a respected hospitality industry and structured finance professional with 25 years of diverse, hands-on experience in areas of lodging and real estate investment and development, workouts and restructuring, business process improvement, structured debt and equity financing, and acquisitions and dispositions.
Fred Kleisner is a four decade plus Hotelier/Corporate CEO/COO. His experience is unparalleled, ranging from one of the original Holiday Inns to individual world class hotels and resorts and worldwide Branded Hospitality Companies.
Mr. Kleisner has been a Senior Advisor of Morgans Hotel Group Co. since 2006, served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hard Rock Hotel Holdings LLC from December 2007 through March 2011 and also served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Morgans Hotel Group Co. from September 2007 through April 2011. He has also served in management positions with Wyndham International, Inc., Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., Westin Hotels and Resorts, Interstate Hotels Company, The Sheraton Corporation, and Hilton Hotels, Corp.
Chris is an extremely passionate and talented young entrepreneur, and is the vision behind Coolbox, Range To Go, WearVybe, and the Dollar Beard Club. Chris has accomplished a great deal at only 26 years old. Despite his youth, Chris brings a practical knowledge of business in tandem with a firm grasp of market psychology for a younger and “hipper” consumer base. With one foot on the ground and one in the clouds, the confidence in an incredible team, and the ability to remain focused on the execution of his powerful ideas and strategies, Chris is fully devoted to deliver an unstoppable product to the market.
Ciprian Petrini has over 10 years of experience in information technology and is an avid advocate of progressive change. Co-founder of lead generation app Expo Pass, he is business and entrepreneurship savvy, and has successfully lead software development teams in both enterprise and start-up environments. Ciprian is an UCLA Computer Science & Engineering Alumnus and currently a successful Project and Product Manager of multiple mobile and web products.
